EMDR Yorkshire has made every effort to ensure that this web site is accessible to all levels of users, including those with disabilities and those using mobile devices and screen readers. The site has been built using W3C standards in HTML, CSS, usability and accessibility, conforming to Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS 2.1 guidelines as well as achieving a level AA conformance in Web content accessibility guidlines.

Many pages on this site feature downloadable content in Portable Document Format (.pdf) or Microsoft Word Document format (.doc). To view these you will need suitable software. PDF readers free to download include Adobe Reader and Foxit Reader (for Windows). For a more complete list see Wikipedia. If you do not have Microsoft Office installed you may need Word Viewer to read .doc files.

PDF documents are compatible with Microsoft Windows based screen readers. If you have a screen reader which cannot read Adobe PDF documents, there are tools to convert PDFs into HTML or ASCII at Adobe's Accessibility Resource Centre.
